Certificates To Be Given 7th Graders Friday
Twenty one members of the seventh grade graduating class of the grammar school will be awarded certificates at the graduating exercises in the grammar school auditorium Friday evening. The program includes processional, invocaton, class poems and readings, and the awarding of certificates by Supt. F. W. Smith. The baccalaureate service will be held Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church with Rev. G. C. Ivins preaching and a joint choir from all churches. Commencement exercises follow Monday evening at the high school auditorium with Rev. J. F. Fender delivering the address to 32 graduates.

Scout Troop 2 Attends Camp Bonham Training
Albert Lea Jackson Merriwell Vineyard Jack Meador and O A Hefner of Scout Troop 2 with Scoutmaster Mack Pierson attended a Scout training school at Camp Bonham to learn better camp operations. The troop met Tuesday night at the Scout cabin with ten Scouts and two officers including J T Bryant the assistant scoutmaster. The weekly meeting night is moved to Monday effective next week and a hike is planned for the coming week.

Bonham Sends Supplies To Tornado Victims
A large party of Bonham businessmen headed by National Red Cross Committee man McLean traveled down the Red River on Wednesday to deliver bedding clothing and household effects to tornado survivors in the Red River Valley. Many homes were destroyed and the Tulip schoolhouse nearly razed but no injuries were reported. Survivors receive tents and are as comfortable as possible under the circumstances.
