Mrs. W. A. Sturdivant, 65, died at 3 AM Thursday May 22 after paralysis struck her a week earlier. She leaves no children but is stepmother to several by two marriages. Harry K Thaw Free Man After 17 Years
Harry K Thaw, once jailed for the Stanford White murder, was freed after 17 years of intermittent confinement. A judge freed him unconditionally after his sanity verdict, restoring his property and discharge of his committee, while Thaw was visiting his mother in Pittsburgh. McKinney Boy Ends Life After Academic Failure
Turner Neel aged 17 son of George L Neel was found dead in a closet in McKinney Texas with a rifle wound through the heart. Coroner Justice Sutherland ruled the wound a suicide attributed to personal safety concerns and failure to pass grades in school was believed to have caused the tragedy.

Four Injured as Kaufman Cyclone Destroys Homes
A cyclone struck two miles east of Kaufman Texas Tuesday afternoon amid heavy rain and hail injuring four people and wrecking several houses and barns along a path over a mile wide. Mrs Joe Hester and J D Hagler were badly hurt as their houses were demolished. Lem Gibb and the Lawson boy were struck by a blown barn at the Sewell Lawson place while others sheltered in a stormhouse. Damages unknown.
