Kay Newman Named 1977 Baylor Beauty
Kay Ellen Newman a Baylor University junior from Carrollton was chosen as a 1977 Baylor Beauty. She is the granddaughter of Mr and Mrs Don Newman formerly of Whitewright and the daughter of Mr and Mrs Don Newman of Dallas. An elementary education major she was among eight Baylor Beauties selected by students and judges and served as pledge class sweetheart for Alpha Kappa Psi.

The MYF group at United Methodist Church met last Sunday in the fellowship hall under Mrs. Veda Norwood. Vaneda Norwood presided, Neda Parkins gave the devotion, and refreshments were served.
