Mrs D P McGinnis and family travel to Amarillo for the funeral of Mrs D B Williams who died Tuesday at her Amarillo home. Born April 6 1889 near Whitewright she was the daughter of J C Russell. She moved to Amarillo in 1919 and was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband two daughters in Amarillo a sister Mrs McGinnis and brother Joe Russell of Denison.

Interference in Project Work Halted by Court
Sherman. C W Burks and other Ida area farmers were permanently enjoined from interfering with the Grayson Collin Electric cooperative’s construction of 432 miles of lines after threats with knives and guns. The court canceled the cooperative’s $200 bond. The firm had spent over $35,000 serving 125 subscribers since obtaining easements last year.
