Russell Ray Summers Dies in Car Wreck Funeral Services Held
Funeral services for Russell Ray Summers 23 were held at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Jameson and others officiating. Summers died in a single vehicle crash near Shannon Creek between Bells and Sherman. He was a Navy veteran and Austin College alum who later worked for Hill Gin Co in Trenton. He is survived by his parents and two grandmothers.

Funeral services were held March 17 at 2 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home in Sherman for Charles Melvin Williams who died March 15 at 1:20 a.m. at his daughter Jeanette Konrath's home in Dallas. Burial followed at Cherry Mound Cemetery. Williams, a Grayson County native born Feb 28 1874, was a retired railway car inspector. Survivors include two sons F E Williams and E C Williams, three daughters Jeanette Konrath Jenola Scott Anna Ruth Williams, an aunt and several siblings and grandchildren.

Funeral services for J. H. Jim Waggoner, 66, were held at the First Methodist Church in Whitewright with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
