F H A members and their teacher Mrs Dyer attended Denton colleges on Saturday. The main purpose was installation of area officers. The group toured NTSC with college guides after a 2 hour program including greetings, a talk by Rev Philip W Walker, and honorary memberships.

One Act Plays at WHS Set for April 5
WHS speech class under Mrs. Roddy will present three one act plays on April 5: Miss Lonely Heart by Helen Miller The Last Laugh by Graham Du Bois and The First Dress Suit by Russell Medcraft. Cast lists and school gossip accompany the notice.
One-Act Play Tryouts for The First Dress Suit
Try-outs conducted in the auditorium select four students to play roles in Russell Medcraft’s one act contest piece The First Dress Suit. Freshman Jimmy Nossaman earns lead as Teddy with Ruth Ann Cummings Betty sophomore Florena Williams as the mother and Jack Badgett as the groom. Alternates named are J Don Biggerstaff Ouida Nell Ryan Mollie Rutledge and Gladine Harper. Whitewright won first place and will perform at 8:00 Saturday morning April 7 in Arlington High School auditorium. Arlington will host the play on April 5 at night.
