Funeral services were held in Fort Worth on Tuesday afternoon for Robert A. Rogers a Fort Worth real estate man who died Sunday The service was led by Rev C C Dooley of Whitewright and Mr Rogers was the brother of Mrs Dooley Survivors include his wife a son and a daughter one brother C A Rogers of Wichita Falls who is seriously ill after a heart attack and one sister Mrs C C Dooley of Whitewright
Funeral services were held at 3 30 p m Monday in Barnheart Chapel for Mrs Maude Pearl Clark 74 of Whitewright who died Sunday at a Tom Bean rest home after a long illness Rev Larry Ravert of Savoy and Rev R O Carry of Randolph conducted the services Burial was in Randolph cemetery She was born November 29 1887 in Fannin County daughter of T D Davis and was a member of the Methodist Church Survivors include two sons Odel Clark of Dallas Lennis Clark of Whitewright a daughter Mrs Alva Blackerby of Whitewright a brother E J Davis of Randolph a sister Mrs Monroe Ledbetter of Denison five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren
S V Earnest veteran district clerk of Grayson County died after a heart attack. Funeral services were held in Denison with burial in Fairview Cemetery. He served 20 years as district clerk and earlier four years in that office. A Navy veteran of World War I, he is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Grayson County has engaged three architectural firms for bond-funded projects. Brown & Chapman of Sherman will design livestock and agriculture exhibit buildings at Loy Park. Denison architect Donald Mayes will plan a county sub-office building in Denison. A Houston firm will design a courthouse expansion in Sherman. First Loy Park phase begins with junior livestock pens in April.
