Mother Dies In Effort To Save Babies
Fort Worth reports a mother, Mrs. John Lee, 30, died after entering a wall of flame from an exploding oil stove to rescue her four children trapped in a burning home. Neighbor Andy Wilkerson pulled out three children while another child escaped through a window. The cottage burned to the ground. Bertha Mae Lee, 8, was at school nearby.
