Grayson County FFA Week Observed With Banquet
Grayson County last week joined about 350 Future Farmers across the county in National FFA Week. District officers planned programs, radio broadcasts, displays, and parties culminating with a 7:30 p.m. banquet at the Grayson Hotel Sherman. Local leaders and guests heard talks on FFA history and degrees, with students from Sherman Bells Gunter Denison and Whitesboro presenting projects in beef dairy crops poultry pasture and swine.

Seventy seven seniors from WHS and Leonard attended a citizenship program at East Texas State Teachers College on Friday November 24. The notice announces a tax foreclosure suit by The State of Texas against Margaret G Ellis and others over Lots 13-16, Block 22 Sunny Side Addition, Denison, Grayson County, with a return date April 10 1950 in the Grayson County District Court.

Krum Clinches Playoff Win Over Tigers in Regional Bout
In a regional playoff game on February 23 at Perkins Gym on the S M U campus Krum defeated the District 33 B champion Tigers 26 to 20. Tigers trailed most of the game with Herman Musser scoring eight points leading Denison Tigers in a hard fought loss.
