A reception for the returning pastor Friday at 8 p.m. in the church educational building will feature Roy L. Big Push Planned As Oleo Tax Cut Set
Washington reports oleo margarine makers plan a major sales push for July 1 when the 10 cent per pound federal tax on yellow margarine is removed. Paul Truitt, president of the National Association of Margarine Manufacturers, says tax savings should reach consumers in 33 states where yellow margarine is legal, with yellow margarine expected to largely replace white margarine on shelves after June 30 in states banning the color.

The Senate rejected 50 to 18 a bid by eight Republicans to immediately cut government price supports for basic farm commodities. Trap Gets Burglar As Grocer Sleeps
