James L Cardwell Rites Held at First Baptist Church
Funeral services for James L. Cardwell aged 70 were conducted at the First Baptist Church by Rev. G C Ivins. Interment followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers included Claud Dillon S H Jared J W Davidson Ralph Wallace H P Ross and W R Vineyard. Cardwell died Wednesday evening at Sherman after years of ill health. He lived in Whitewright many years and worked as a carpenter. He is survived by two daughters Mrs Browder Webster of Whitewright and Mrs A W Craig of Locust Grove Okla two daughters seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral directed by R R Waldo.
