Detroit May 30 The executive council of United Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees and Railway Shop Laborers votes to ballot all members and nonunion workers affected by the wage cut ordered by the Railroad Labor Board. If a strike is approved, walkout would be July 5 affecting nearly 550,000 voters nationwide.

Cow Hooked Horn Into Child's Mouth in Texas Incident
In Longview Texas on May 30 Corine Albright three years old daughter of Mr and Mrs Tony Albright was attacked by a cow three miles east of the town. The horn pierced the left jaw near the jaw hinge as the child was tossed twice and thrown to the ground. She received medical care and was returned home in a comatose dangerous condition after an operation.

Charleston scene as fifteen officers and 407 men of the Eighth Infantry second battalion return from Antwerp aboard Cantigny.
