The Grayson County Medical Society sponsors a Sunday July 29 vaccination clinic at the Geers Clinic for all ages to wipe out paralytic polio in Grayson County. Sabin oral vaccine will be administered all day, urging area residents to attend.
The untimely death of C. P. Dawson last week will not affect the service of the Dawson Propane Company which serves a wide area with butane and propane gas. Mrs. Dawson has been active in the operation since 1946 and will continue its operation with the same good service.

Graveside services were held at Oak Hill Cemetery for Ceilan Parsons 48 who died Monday in Monahans. Former Nina Ball she was born March 16 1914 and grew up in the community. Survivors include her husband her mother three sisters Mrs. Jack Ryan Sherman Mrs. Bill Belew Weatherford and Mrs. G S Taylor San Antonio and two brothers C B Ball Sherman and W W Ball McKinney.
Funeral services for Ira F Barrett former Fannin County commissioner were held at 2 p m Tuesday at Trenton Baptist Church with burial in Burns Cemetery. Survivors include three sons W B Barrett Whitewright A R Barrett Phoenix Ariz and Leslie Barrett and a daughter Mrs Ben Weathers of Ira plus three brothers M H Barrett J A Barrett of Trenton E B Barrett of Leonard and two sisters Mrs Eula Summers and Mrs Harris Wilson of Trenton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p m Wednesday at Barnheart chapel for Raymond A King 56 who died suddenly Sunday at a Fort Worth hotel. He was a carpenter and former Whitewright resident. Rev Dale Gore officiated and burial was in City Cemetery. Surviving are a son Jimmy King of Mesquite two daughters Mrs W B Logan of Sherman and Mrs Edith Brannon of Houston three brothers and four grandchildren.
