The 1934 agricultural census will begin mid January with 100 questions covering farming operations. Enumerators will ask about other jobs, farm management, land rented, landlord duties, property value, mortgages, dwellings and labor, crop yields from peanuts to cotton, and livestock numbers and outputs. Answers are confidential and not used for taxes. pay is 20 cents per enumeration and it may take about an hour per farm.

Forty rehabilitation houses have been completed in Denison for relief of the unemployed with thirty now occupied. Twenty-two more homes are being prepared for occupancy as J. W. Reaves reports. Mrs. Bernice McCarley says 100 beef cases were shipped to Sherman last week, totaling 35,000 cans since July 6, with canning on a sixty forty basis for relief families and plans to continue into spring for vegetables.

First National Bank Stockholders Meet Elect Directors
