Bowen and Jefferson families of Hale Center unite as Miss Billie Ruth Jefferson and Morris Wayne Bowen wed February 8 at the bride’s home. The couple, registrants from Dublin Plains and Hale Center, plan residence at 704 Milwaukee Street Plainview. Bowen is a Ponca Wholesale employee with Army service in Alaska.
The engagement of Miss Wanda Laverne Rucks of Lake Wales Florida to Aubrey Lee Burnham of Grapevine is announced by the bride elects parents. The wedding is set for April 12 at First Methodist Church Lake Wales. Burnham a Texas A and M College mechanical engineering graduate will begin six months Army training at Fort Benning on April 18.
