Drainage Project Underway on Whitewright Farm
T H Sears has let a contract to drain 150 acres of rich bottom land eight miles southest of Whitewright. The project uses 198 tons of drain tile and will run about nine miles of mains and laterals at a cost near 4000 dollars. Texas Arkana tile firm handles the work under a civil engineer. J C Olsen of A M College notes plans and Dallas county farmers will visit to inspect the progress.

All State Troops to Be Released from Federal Service
