Grayson County lowers road bond rate to cut taxes

Grayson County adopts a new bond plan to refund the remaining 716000 of the 900000 issue with bonds at a 4 3 4 percent rate, reducing road tax from 12 to 9 cents and saving about 30000 over 32 years. The amortization plan lowers interest each year, with Walter Phillips of the National Bank of Commerce handling negotiations.

Burglars Hit Seven Stores and Two Depots Friday Night

Denison February 7 Floyd Heath and Lewis Harmon alongside two other men were jailed on vagrancy charges after Sunday arrests by deputies Hanna and Smith.
