Woman Succumbs While Praying in Fort Worth
Mrs. Mollie Wright, 58, of Fort Worth, died while praying at her bedside shortly after 5 am. Found by her daughter Mrs. Louis Roberts, a lit gas stove indicated she died recently. An inquest by a local Justice of the Peace ruled death from cerebral hemorrhage.

The Court of Criminal Appeals upheld Sam Hightower's conviction for possessing liquor in Grayson County. William J. Looney longtime Whitewright resident died at Sherman Hospital from Brights disease. Funeral service was held at the Methodist Church in Whitewright with interment in City Cemetery. He was born in Ida June 17 1882 and survived by a wife Manza Howell a son G O Looney a daughter Mozella Looney six brothers and a sister. He lived in Grayson County most his life and worked in furniture before moving to Slaton and then Sherman. He belonged to the Methodist Church and I O O F Lodge and asked his son to tell Whitewright people he loved them.
