The 1959 Grayson County census counted 2 352 farms up from 2 815 in 1954 with an average size of 208.3 acres. Sales totaled 9 616 483 dollars, including 4 929 394 dollars from crops and 4 687 089 dollars from livestock. The 1964 census seeks farmer cooperation for updated figures.
