Shady Grove Reporter Returns With Fall Guidance

A Shady Grove Gazette columnist says after a summer of meetings and labors they return ready for the busy fall and winter ahead. The piece signals renewed focus on daily tasks and upcoming weeks.

Seasonal winds bring new year and farming notes

The column notes a brisk northern wind from mountains signaling the new year and spring. It covers cotton picking yields of one fourth to one third bale per acre with steady prices, then shifts to poultry and egg production advice. It includes flock quality, culling, disinfecting, and feeding regimes for fall and winter, ending with a note on tankage as hog feed. Framed as guidance from I. E. Teague.
