He is a Whitewright High School graduate and Rice M E degree holder with West Point commission and MIT master's degree. His wife Marjorie is daughter of Mr and Mrs Geo M Williams of Bastrop La.

Born in Morristown Tennessee he married Ruby Smith in Ely in 1902.
Funeral services for Malcolm A. Mack Atnip 75 were held at Bells Baptist Church with burial in Memorial Park near Sherman. Born February 20, 1890 in Glasgow Kentucky he married Eva Kidd in 1913. Survivors include his wife a daughter two brothers a sister and a granddaughter.
Mr and Mrs Sears Anderson of Whitesboro and Mr and Mrs Hayden Griffin of Brownfield visited relatives here last week.

April 16 1925 report states the L. C. Long bakery was damaged by fire last night. Mrs H P Clack died at Wills Point and was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery April 13. A son was born to Mr and Mrs Charlie Layman last Thursday. The state road project five miles south of Whitewright nears completion.
Dr J F Spindle sustained minor injuries after an automobile accident Sunday. He was treated at the scene and released with others unharmed. The incident occurred in the vicinity of town as authorities investigated the cause.
In Grayson County on April 18 1940 Velma Holland earned a $5 prize for an essay titled How Can I Prevent Contagion The same event lists the text of the winning piece and notes the contest sponsor.
