Mrs. Maria Dolman widow of Joseph Dolman died at 6 p m Sunday at her daughter’s home in Michigan City aged 84. Born Maria Faulkner in Derby England on February 25 1821 she came to America in 1849 and lived in Laporte County before Michigan City. Survived by three daughters and three sons, funeral at Greenwood cemetery with Rev A J Waller officiating. Also reported was the death of Mrs. Jon Shaulkey 60 who burned to death in Pleasant Township after her clothing ignited while tending a kettle. funeral conducted by Rav Meinstein of Tracy Lutheran Church with burial at the same site.
