The new school room opened with Supt Faroum delivering a talk and presenting educational views. Mrs Skinner spoke on domestic economy while pupils performed solos by Clifford Davidson and Dorothy Baird. William Weir praised the building and Pat ton Post of Laporte offered a United States flag, accepted graciously. Trustees were thanked for providing the building as a social center. the community hopes for future events.
