The Bellows, Corsets, and Mother’s Love in Old Tales

In a vignette by Josephile Welland and Christian Reid, a tale blends misty childhood memory with social commentary. A doctor demonstrates bellows and corset harms while reflecting on mother’s boundless care and the moral weight of self discipline. The piece shifts to children’s humor and tender observations about mothers and family, interweaving anecdotes and period tone.
