Captain Deatrich of Collyer Visited Saint Thomas Allies in Kansas

Captain Jacob H. Deatrich a Collyer Kansas veteran of the War of the Rebellion, 126th Pa Infantry, later captain in the 20th Pa Cavalry, visited Saint Thomas and Back Creek. He wears G A R bronze button and a Union Pacific RB RR pension badge for 39 years service, owns much land near Collyer, and recalls his wartime deeds. His wife, sister to Treasurer War T Haulman of Chambersburg, Pa., accompanied him.
