Sudden Disappearance of Pat Egee Near Hill City Kansas
Pat Egee a 28 year old Hill City area farmer vanished after a morning in town August 30. He bought groceries, drew about 100 from the bank, attended a Wheat Special lecture, then disappeared from the Union Pacific depot with 85 to 100 dollars said to accompany him. Search by sheriff and posse yielded no clues.

The Campbell Brothers consolidated circus announces a greatly enlarged show to appear in Wa-Keeney on Tuesday September 1 with a large parade and an array of world famous acts including The Flying Le Vans Mizunu troupe Nellie Ryland and Cossack Rough Riders. The program features trained elephants horses and other acts, with performances at 2 and 7 p.m. Also notices sealed bids for a frame schoolhouse in Wa-Keeney District 21 due September 15 1906 with plans available at the Probate Judge’s office.
