Fort Hays Normal Opens Summer Term With Record Enrollment

Fort Hays Normal School begins its summer term on May 31 and ends July 31. Registrar A P Leiker reports this will be the largest enrollment in the school’s history. The term offers 119 courses across all departments and includes special courses toward the degree. New state laws affect teacher certificates and diplomas, with Fort Hays offering courses meeting the new requirements. Noted lecturer Henry S Curtis of New York, a playground expert, will spend a week at the Normal during a four week term starting May 2.
