Domestic Science Class Hosts Surprise Luncheon
The High School Domestic Science girls gave a six oclock luncheon and two handkerchief shower at Miss Marie Munson s home on Tuesday evening in honor of their instructor Miss Weaver. Thirteen hostesses and female faculty attended. The house was decorated in school colors with lilacs on the table.

Tornado near Banner disturbs county residents
A Sunday evening tornado near Banner traveled from northwest to southeast, smashing Walter Morell’s farm buildings and killing seven cattle after destroying most structures except the house. Carl Inloes, then Luck family properties were damaged, fences and crops wrecked, but no lives were lost as residents sought shelter in caves and cellars. Mr and Mrs Wagoner hosted a Saturday night reception with fresh Bakers Addy bread.

District Court Week Delays in Hazen Case Deliberations
