James R Guilbert born February 2 1846 in Guesney county Ohio served in Company II 19th Ohio Regiment from October 1864 to October 1865 mustered out in Columbus. He later moved to Kansas and settled in Banner then died June 2 1907 after seeking health in Carlsbad and the Rocky Mountains buried in San Antonio Mexico. He was a Congregational church member and active Sunday school worker. He leaves a widow two sons and a daughter with many friends mourning.
