Trego County Students in Kansas University Aboard Wa Keeney Ties
The Wa Keeney boys from Trego County study at Kansas University to gain theory for Western Kansas success. Six county men from Wa Keeney attend, led by Thomas FPF Countryman a law student and debater on the affirmative of a women’s suffrage resolution. Chas. P. Hoar, now in Lawrence, is a junior in the college and president of the Mandolin club. Guy Jones, son of Representative Jones, is a freshman in engineering noted for attendance and shows. Walter Burnham, a sophomore engineer, reentered after illness. Galloway and Rinker are described as grafts with Rinker holding two posts and Galloway a famed hustler and university agent.
