Andy Schaus of Hamilton township dies of consumption. Teachers' association attracted attendees from along the creek to Wa Keeney. Mr Bratt sells his Ridgway farm and moves to Russell. O W Shideler of Ellis Telephone Co installs poles south and west of Ellis.
A number from this neighborhood attend meetings at Ransom. Andy Gullett and Eugene Holmes went to Wa-Keeney on business Monday. Walter Doerschlag and Mr. Montgomery are building new houses. Eugene Holmes had a runaway Sunday when his horses frightened the wagon overturning it. Elmer his son and Miss Ethel Gullett were thrown to the ground with no serious injuries.

Anna Blakely born February 13 1620 in Tyrone Ireland died December 3 1907 in Ogallah Kansas after living in Grant County Wisconsin Hall County Nebraska and Kansas. She married Thomas Blakely in 1838 and had seven children with four preceding her in death. Funeral at M E church Ogallah conducted by Rev Scott with interment in Ogallah cemetery.
Mrs. Rachel Jewell Price died November 29 1907 at her Collyer Kansas home after a long illness. She was born May 24 1875 in Baltimore County Maryland and lived in Missouri before moving to Johnson County Kansas and later Collyer. Survived by husband Howard Price three children oldest 10 youngest two weeks. The family thanks friends for kindness during sickness and death.
Kansas City stock yards report shows cattle prices rising 10 to 25 cents after light receipts, with top heifers around 5.10 and cattle on feed in the east above western markets.
