All young men of Trego county who turn twenty one between June 5 and August 24 1918 must register at the county clerk office in Wa Keeney Kansas on August 24 1918 from 7 to 9 am. A pair of gentleman s trousers disappeared from the Wa Keeney Clothing Store on August 10. The party who took them is known and to avoid embarrassment or prosecution they should be returned at once.

Harry Spena, fourteen, was killed last Sunday afternoon in a road accident west of town after attempting to pass a car and colliding with a oncoming vehicle. He had just graduated from common school and planned to enter high school this year. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church amid community sympathy.
