Farwell Named County Fruit Inspector by Wenatchee Officials
The Chelan County commissioners appointed Geo H Farwell as county fruit inspector at their weekly meeting. Farwell will assume duties on his return from the east where he has been two months. The salary is set at 1500 dollars per year with travel expenses and deputies paid four dollars per day, higher than any other county office. Nominations for the position were made by the Chelan County Horticultural Association at a convention, listing S W Phillips Farwell and a nonresident from Idaho.
