The Priest Rapids railway from Waterville to Kennewick will begin work early next spring. W R Rust will start the project on return from Europe. The electric line, fed by Hanford Irrigation and Power plant, connects with major western railways and spans 136 miles along the Columbia River toward Hanford and Waterville, boosting irrigation, farming, and regional commerce.
