John Tholin Dies in Leavenworth
John Tholin, one of the Valley’s oldest residents, died suddenly of heart disease at his Leavenworth home. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Sunday in Leavenworth, with Undertaker Hall in charge of arrangements. Seats for The Alaska n, John Cort's comic opera, are on sale at Wenatchee Drug Company, with 65 cast members.

Miss Stevens Wins Honors At Ohio Conservatory
Miss Elva Stevens, a resident of this city and sister of Mrs. H. E. Evans, is honored as prize singer at the Ohio Conservatory of Music. A Cincinnati Post feature notes her discovery as a child prodigy out West and her rise to second year honors with a scholarship. She studies vocal and instrumental music, dramatic art, English and German and will return to Wenatchee next June.

Pacific Northwest’s first auto stage line to operate soon
