Pressure cooker gift marks 1904 Collingsworth County arrival
Collingsworth County Museum adds a Denver made pressure cooker from The Pressure Cooker Company to its collection, believed brought in 1904 by Hughey and Mattie Melton. The gift follows a wave of local donations and visits from Melton relatives and other area families, with gratitude extended to donors and a call to celebrate local history during summer museum hours.
