Mrs J B Williams dies at 29 in Wellington
Funeral services for Mrs J B Williams nee Alice Phipps, 29, of Wellington will be held Wednesday at 2:30 from Primitive Baptist Church in Wellington with Rev E V Norman in charge. She died after a two month illness in a local hospital. Born February 2, 1908 she was the daughter of Mr and Mrs J C Phipps of Wellington. She married J B Williams ten years ago and is survived by eight year old twin daughters Wanita and Alleta, with prior residences in Cross Roads Fresno and Wellington.

Death Trails A sewer mishap rocks Fullerton Avenue
A sewer explosion on Fullerton avenue Chicago flung covers across a mile front. An elevator operator A C Day was killed when a cover crashed through a warehouse roof into an elevator shaft. Two passengers were unhurt. The incident follows a fatal sewer cover launch as rescuers investigate the strange blast. Pallbearers and interment plans announced for a Wellington resident with service by Wellington Funeral Home.
