Barbara is a counselor in training. The 200 acre camp includes cabins, infirmary, dining hall, trading post, and activity fields. 36 staff members run a seven week program for ages 8 to 13, followed by two teen weeks.

Fire Destroys Grass and Fence Near Memphis
Firemen answered a call Wednesday afternoon to a grass and fence blaze on land leased by Wayne Codd in the southwest county. The fire scorched about a quarter to half section of grass and damaged nearly three quarters of a mile of fence on the Clyde Collins place near the Bess Browder ranch just west of Ellison Park. The cause was not determined.
