Five earned Master of Arts in Religion and 62 completed Bachelor of Arts as 89 took Bachelor of Science. Three earned Bachelor of Music Education and ten received two year certificates. Summer candidates numbered 36. Dr Roy Cantrell addressed baccalaureate service at First Church of the Nazarene Bethany. Commencement at Putnam City high school auditorium drew 2,200 as Dr Eugene Stome spoke for Nazarene Theological Seminary. Enrollment this year exceeded 1700.

Lone Star Stores Gas for Winter

Lone Star Gas Company reports storage injections totaling over 4.8 billion cubic feet across 11 underground reservoirs since January 1 in preparation for the October November heating season. Officials estimate a total storage volume around 28.5 billion cubic feet by season start.

Lone Star Gas Expands Underground Storage Near Dallas

Lone Star Gas plans an August 1 start for a new underground facility in Denton County near the Dallas Fort Worth area with storage capacity over 414 billion cubic feet. The company says gas injection will be steady until cool weather increases demand and total underground storage capacity exceeds 86 billion cubic feet.
