AEP grants honor volunteers via WVFD tribute
American Electric Power awarded a $100 grant through its Connects program to the Wellington Volunteer Fire Department in honor of AEP employees Tommy Hudson and Gary Lemons, and retirees Jim Sikes and Leon Martin, for their volunteer service. More than 700 grants last year totaled over 91,000 volunteer hours, with Draper noting the grants aid schools and nonprofits in meeting human needs.
