First Deer by Hannah Phipps at Phipps Ranch
Hannah Phipps of Canyon shot her first deer three days before turning 13 on December 28 2005 at the Phipps Ranch in Wellington with her father Jim. At about 5 PM the buck stood within 20 yards and was hit behind the shoulder blade. later that evening Jim shot a second buck.

Rhythm Band Activity At Center With Daily Activities
Monday through Sunday at the care center featured Rhythm Band sessions led by Dorothy Massey and Lola Estes with a roster of residents including Nena Oldham Lola Estes Maria Saldana and James Brown.
