Funeral Rites Held Monday for Miss Turner

Miss Della Cozette Tucker 78 died in Parkview Hospital Wheeler Saturday December 25. She lived in Col. Hnesworth County since 1907 moving from Arkansas in a covered wagon. Born October 6 1887 in Batesville Ark she was a Fundamental Baptist Church member. Funeral service was Monday at 2 p.m. at Fundamental Baptist Church with Rev J E Young officiating. Burial in Ply mouth Cemetery directed by Kelso Funeral Home. Pallbearers were great nephews Bob Riley James Tucker Bill Reid Jerry Reid Don Reid and Kenneth Reid.

Mrs Garrison Dies in Sublette Kansas

Mrs. W. E. Garrison a Wellington resident for 24 years died December 21 in Sublette Kansas after ill health. Born Jenny Lynn Jones May 18 1903 at Bridgeport she married W E Garrison March 6 1929 and lived in Duncan Oklahoma before moving to Wellington. Survivors include her husband three daughters a son a granddaughter and several siblings. Burial was at West Wellington Cemetery with Kelso Funeral Home directing.

Mrs Glen Lewis of Hollis visited Well ington with her daughter Judy while her son Garth Lewis, an English teacher in Freeport junior high, and his siblings Reggie Lewis and wife joined. Mrs Vesta Lee Orr brought Terry Ann and Shari from Tulsa to Hollis to visit relatives. Major John T Alexander and daughter Kathy traveled from Fort Leavenworth to spend the holiday with Earl Alexander family and V K Orrs. David Davis Jr and family from Amarillo visited Mrs Charley Starkey.
