Progressive Dinner Party Fetes 1924 Study Club Members
Active and associate members of the 1924 Study Club met December 16 for a four part progressive dinner called Infacade of the Yuletide. The evening featured festive decorations, cocktails, a Hibachi themed appetizer round, a main course at the Chester Fires home, and a dessert course at the Bob Goforth home with a gift exchange and a surprise program including song and poetry performances.

Fidelis Class Christmas Dinner At First Baptist Church
Members of the Fidelis Class met Tuesday evening December 14 for their Christmas dinner in the church dining room. Guy Clement presided with Mrs. Bruce Hite and the class hosting. Rev. Allen B. Earnest Jr. sang and Mrs. Charles Cason Sr. gave the devotional on Christ’s birth. Gifts were exchanged from the tree as recreation director Mrs. Ben Wilhelm organized activities. Guild Holds Annual Christmas Party at Baumgardner Farm
The Wesleyan Service Guild held its annual Christmas party December 9 at the Baumgardner farm. Mrs. David Baumgardner hosted with aid from Mrs. Joe Baumgardner and Juliana Baumgardner. Luther Kirk of Pampa led the opening prayer as members sang carols and discussed service for the coming year. A decorated tree and gifts adorned the living room while secret passes for next year were drawn and refreshments served to a long list of attendees.

Family Ties Grow as Murray Clan Expands
The Murray family, long tied to the Panhandle A&M College area, extended their lineage with three new children before moving from Goodwell to Wellington in December 1933. At present they count seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren alongside their three offspring.
