Dirty Chimneys Can Cause House Fires
Chimneys with creosote deposits ignite home fires annually. Inspect chimneys, remove deposits, and use hot daily fires to limit buildup. A chimney sweep can aid cleaning and inspect for installation issues. If a fire occurs, contact the fire department and use a fire extinguisher or baking soda to suppress.
