Wellington Rockets defeat Lockney 20 to 6 in the bi district game. Richard Bailey starred with a 76 yard TD run and strong backfield work alongside George Stafford and Nelson Moulton. Estes Bailey and Williams contributed key plays as Wellington led 6 0 at halftime and secured the win with late game defense.
In the first part of the final period Brotherton punted to Williams on the fifty yard line. Williams ran seventeen yards to the Lockney nine as Bailey gained four. Bailey then connected with Mites for a five yard touchdown pass with Hor ton adding the extra point. The game ended with the ball at Lockney's ten yard line. Court officials in Baltimore dismissed the case against Ernest Dunniigan after he rammed the rear of a car and gave himself a ticket.
