Rob Simons discusses his broad art department work on Walk the Line and other films like A Civil Action Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood and Sin City. He describes building physical sets and green screen work, including a cotton field scene near Memphis and recreating a German look for 1969 Germany. He notes the challenges of detailing everything seen behind actors and recalls Wellington and Panhandle weather. Walk the Line screens at Lone Star 4 Theatre in Childress in December.
