New Court Clerk James Ammons Named For Collingsworth County
James Ammons is the new Justice Court Clerk for Collingsworth County Justice of the Peace. Born in Aberdeen and a Wellington High School graduate of 1958, he earned a UT Austin degree in 1976 and served in the US Army from 1958 to 1962. He worked 30 years at Ryerson Steel and returned to Wellington with his wife Janet in 2000, driving the mail truck for Tank Forrester for three and a half years.
