Obituary for J. M. Moore of Kerrville and Wellington
J. M. Moore 83 of Kerrville and former Wellington resident died August 19 1998 in a Kerrville hospital. Memorial services were held August 21 at Overby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Blackburn officiating. Burial in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery San Antonio. Moore born September 28 1914 in Wilbarger County Texas son of L A and Etta Moore. He moved to Wellington in 1917 and married Clarice Harper on December 14 1942. He served in the U S Air Force 1941 1945, retired as Lt Colonel in 1964. He retired from Moulder Oldham Co Tulsa 1981 and lived in Kerrville since then. Survivors: wife Clarice, daughter Lynn and Pat, grandson Kevin and Shawn, granddaughter Traci McGrath, three great grandchildren, brothers Howard Moore and Joe Moore, sisters Leslie Denmead Faye Duncan and to Moore, many nieces and nephews. Memorials to Trinity Baptist Church Kerrville or Family Hospice Kerrville.
