Marjorie Shellenberger of Oklahoma City died August 3 2003 at age 80. Memorial services were held August 6 at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene with Mercer-Adams Funeral Home directing. She was born April 17 1923 in Bethany to Rev L H and Ruby Dickerson and taught in Oklahoma in the 1950s and 60s, earning Teacher of the Year honors in 1966 67. Survivors include husband Elmer, daughter Susie, son Kent, three grandsons, sister Maurine, and others. Gorman Owens aged 82 died August 11 2003 in Wellington. Cremation with private family burial under Adams Funeral Home. Born August 27 1920 in Quail, he served in WWII, worked for Douglas Aircraft, and later as Wellington postman. Survived by wife Billye, daughter Aleta Irwin, granddaughter Kristi Irwin, grandson Bree Owens, and several in laws and nieces.
