Death of Mrs Bailey after long illness in Wellington

Mrs. Bailey died at 1 0:40 am Wednesday at age 67 after over eight weeks of bed confinement due to a long illness brought on by care for her husband. The couple, long residents of Wellington, had lived here about forty years. Funeral Friday at Congregational church Lovelock at 11 am with private services at the halls. Mr. Bailey, previously linked in business with Mr. C Sage, survives with neighbors and friends.

Thrown From a Train in Dayton Mystery

Harry Springer of Dayton was found badly injured beside a track after an alleged robbery and push from a Big Four freight car. He was unfit to identify his assailants, wore a Dayton necktie dealer’s mark and tattoo initials H S on his arm. A brother came to take him home. authorities search for suspects and questions about a possible shoe or cap mismatch.
